To the Moms Making the Magic: Merry Christmas!

The cookies are (mostly) baked, the gifts are hidden (somewhere!), and the “To-Do” list has hopefully been traded for a cup of something warm.

We know that for moms, the holidays aren’t just a day on the calendar—they are a production. You are the director, the set designer, the caterer, and the lead gift-wrapper. You’re the one making sure the traditions stay alive and that the magic feels real for your little ones.

A Gentle Reminder for the Big Day

Amidst the wrapping paper chaos and the excitement of Christmas morning, please remember:

  • Done is better than perfect. If the roast is a little dry or a gift didn’t arrive in time, your kids won’t remember that. They’ll remember the way you hugged them.
  • You deserve to be in the photo. Hand the camera to someone else. Get in the shot with your messy hair and your pajamas. You are part of these memories, too.
  • Take five minutes for yourself. Whether it’s a quiet moment in the kitchen or a slow breath before the kids wake up, find a second to acknowledge all the hard work you’ve put in this year.

Wishing You Peace and Joy

My wish for you this Christmas is that you get to see the holiday through your children’s eyes, but also that you find a moment of true rest. May your coffee stay hot, your heart stay full, and your “battery low” light stay off just a little longer.

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas! I am so grateful to have you as part of this motherhood journey.
